COVERT OPERATIONS!

Staff of K&S Chip Van Security Systems  conduct covert operations training. Here they are disguised as a 'three-legged umbrella with bicycle distraction'.

CHIP VAN WRINKLE!

Sadly, we have seen the last of the chip van for this season. They are going to have their long winter sleep!

Thanks to Amanda and her crew for manning the fryers...and to Ken and Seb of K&S Chip Van Security Systems.

Good news...they will be back next Easter, visiting the site on a couple of evenings each week... a very good reason to get on that diet over the winter to allow for a little holiday treat.

Remember....'The queue starts here'.

K&S Chip Van Security Systems are ready to welcome you!

(I see Ken's been working out!)

LOWER TREAVE WINS GOLD WILDLIFE AWARD!

For the fourth year running, Lower Treave has been awarded a Gold in the David Bellamy Conservation Award Scheme ...and with wildlife like this around it's not surprising!

Many thanks to all who help make our participation in this scheme so worthwhile, not least Paul, who not only creates an environment in which the wildlife can thrive and which guests enjoy so much, but then captures it on camera for us all to enjoy.

PS...no tigers were harmed in the winning of this award!

...AND THE WINNER IS!

...well two winners actually. After a board of enquiry, it has been difficult to establish who exactly was in the British Library becoming the 10,000th reader of the blog....

So we are awarding two prizes...look out on your doorsteps J and D for the arrival of the 2011 'Wild Cornwall Calendar'. Lower Treave features in March with a great picture of local beach Pednvounder.

Enjoy!
