WORLDS BIGGEST TENT COMPETITION - PLANNING PERMISSION REQUIRED?
.
If you are currently packing the latest all bells and whistles, sleeps fourteen (but there are just the two of us), room for a pony, lodgers taken in, weddings, barmitzvahs and concerts a speciality super-tent, have a moments thought about its actual size on the pitch. Our pitches are all at least 12 metres by 8 metres. That is pretty generous by most campsite standards...and we have recently reduced the number of pitches on the site to ensure that everybody gets that space.
.
However, you might just want to make sure that your outfit will fit on the pitch...bearing in mind that you also have to site your gazebos, pup tents, awnings and park your car in that space, whilst still leaving the statutory 3 metre fire break between units! We don't charge for any 'extra' tentage...but that doesn't mean to say we have unlimited space for you to put it up...particularly in August.
.
If you're not sure, put up your tent in the garden or local park before your holiday, measure it and give us a ring and we will advise on whether it will fit a single pitch or not.
.
And remember...the bigger they are...the harder they are to put up....and the easier they are to blow down!
